RESOLUTION NO. 2020-123
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 2, 2020 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 6, 2020, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE MOWING CONTRACT FOR CITY OWNED LOTS
GENERALLY ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA CODE 657A,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the mowing contract for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the mowing contract for city owned
lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, be scheduled for April 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of April 2020,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the mowing contract for city owned lots generally
acquired through Iowa Code 657A.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
