RESOLUTION NO. 2020-147
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT, BONDS AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE WITH WOODRUFF
CONSTRUCTION, LLC, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $16,587,300, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT BIOSOLIDS
MODIFICATIONS, CONTRACT NO. 994, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, LLC, of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a written
contract, bond and certificate of insurance, in the amount of$16,587,300, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2020-66, after public
hearing on January 27, 2020, in conjunction with the Wastewater Treatment Plant Biosolids
Modifications, Contract No. 994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Woodruff
Construction, LLC, in the amount of$16,587,300, in conjunction with the Wastewater Treatment
Plant Biosolids Modifications, Contract No. 994, are hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2020.
