Members present: Boesen, Amos, Morrissey, Klein, Feuss, Grieder, and Juon. Mr. Feuss arrived
at 5:08 p.m.
Moved by Juon seconded by Klein that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Voice -vote Ayes:
Six. Motion carried.
Objective: Discussion of the convention center budget.
Brendan Wagner, Convention Center General Manager, presented an overview of operations since
taking over convention center management in January and the FYE2021 convention center budget.
Objective: Discussion of the FYE 2021 budget.
Michelle Weidner, Chief Financial Officer, handed out a copy of the published budget estimate
notice, a draft of the budget form reflecting the tax rate published in the budget estimate notice,
FYE2020 Certified and FYE2021 Max Levy Budget Comparison for General Fund, FYE2020
Certified and FYE2021 Additional Needs Budget Comparison for General Fund, and budget
requests submitted by council members.
Council members and Mayor Hart discussed the handouts with Michelle Weidner.
With no further business before the Council, it was moved by Juon seconded by Amos that the
meeting be adjourned at 6:40 p.m. Voice -vote Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
