Members present: Boesen, Amos, Morrissey, Klein, Grieder, and Juon. Absent: Feuss.
Moved by Morrissey seconded by Grieder that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Voice -vote
Ayes: Six. Motion carried.
Objective: Discussion of the FYE 2021 budget.
Michelle Wiedner, Chief Financial Officer, provided updated handouts for the Mayor's budget
proposal, FYE2020 and FYE2021 Proposed Budget Comparison — General Fund worksheet, and
Sample Property Tax Collections and Property Tax Changes worksheet.
Council members discussed the handouts provided with the Chief Financial Officer. In addition,
council discussed hiring delays, adding various amounts of Fire Department positions with the
SAFER Grant, bonus pay in the fire department versus adding back swing positions, and the
meeting schedules for future budget work sessions.
With no fiu-ther business before the Council, it was moved by Juon seconded by Grieder that the
meeting be adjourned at 6:08 p.m. Voice -vote Ayes: 6:08 p.m. Motion carried.
