AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2008 TRAFFIC CODE
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (24) HAMMOND AVENUE
OF SECTION 2 OF SECTION 582, TRUCK TRAFFIC
PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (24) HAMMOND
AVENUE OF SECTION 2 OF SECTION 582, TRUCK
TRAFFIC PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Subsection (24) Hammond
582, Truck Traffic Prohibited o
Traffic Code, is repealed in its
(24) Hammond Avenue of Section 2
Prohibited on Certain Streets,
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
(24) Hammond Avenue
Avenue of Section 2 of Section
n Certain Streets, of the 2008
entirety; that a new Subsection
of Section 582, Truck Traffic
of the 2008 Traffic Code, is
follows:
Shaulis Road to southerly
corporate limits. There shall
be an exemption for trucks
operating to and from the
Hawkeye Community College
Regional Transportation Training
Center; the exemption shall be
in effect from the southerly
corporate limits to a point 550
feet north of the southerly
corporate limits.
