RESOLUTION APPROVING ORDER ACCEPTING
ACKNOWLEDGMENT/SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $300, FROM LOVE'S TRAVEL STOPS AND
COUNTRY STORES, INC., #702, 3301 GREYHOUND DRIVE,
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR SALE OF TOBACCO TO MINOR
VIOLATION-FIRST OFFENSE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement and in the amount of$300, dated March 9, 2020, for
the affirmative defense sale of tobacco to a minor violation-first offense, between Love's Travel
Stops and Country Stores, Inc., #702, 3301 Greyhound Drive, Waterloo, Iowa and the City of
Waterloo, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of March 2020.
