RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS MARCH 23, 2020 TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY LAMAR
ADVERTISING, FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE
"S-1" SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT, TO ALLOW FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A 45-FOOT TALL, 378-SQUARE-FOOT
OFF-PREMISES BILLBOARD, LOCATED AT 2010 SEARS
STREET, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall, City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 23`d day of March 2020,
for the purpose of considering the request by Lamar Advertising for a Site Plan Amendment to the
"S-1" Shopping Center District, to allow for the construction of a 45-foot tall, 378-square-foot off-
premises billboard,located at 2010 Sears Street, and legally described as follows:
PARCEL B OF PLAT OF SURVEY FILED IN DOC #2006-11650 BEING A
PART OF THE EAST HALF OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 88 NORTH, RANGE
13, WEST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO,BLACK HAWK COUNTY,IOWA.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
