AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY CITY
OF WATERLOO TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 0.52 ACRES
FROM "R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO "M-1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT,
LOCATED AT AND ADJACENT TO 915 LINDEN AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 10-4-4 of Ordinance No.
5079 as amended, City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance, be amended to approve a request by the
City of Waterloo to rezone the property legally described as follows:
LOT 1 AND LOT 2 OF WILBY'S ADDITION, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK
HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
now zoned on the Official Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, approximately 0.52 acres from "R-2"
One and Two Family Residence District to "M-1" Light Industrial District, located at and
adjacent to 915 Linden Avenue, for future expansion of the Public Works facility located to the
west at 625 Glenwood Street.
