RESOLUTION NO. 2020-181
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO CERTIFY
AGAINST CERTAIN PARCELS FOR UNPAID LAWN/WEED
MOWING, SNOW REMOVAL, PROPERTY CLEAN-UPS, AND
HAZARDOUS TREES.
WHEREAS, Iowa Code Section 364.12(3)(h) allows municipalities to certify for unpaid
lawn/weed mowing, snow removal, property clean-ups, and hazardous tree fees to the benefited
property as a lien.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the Black Hawk County
Treasurer all lawn/weed mowing, snow removal, property clean-ups, and hazardous tree fees, as
contained in the schedule now on file in the City Clerk's Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of March 2020.
