Members present: Boesen, Morrissey, Klein, Feuss, and Grieder. Mr. Amos and Mrs. Juon joined
via telephone.
Moved by Grieder seconded by Morrissey that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Voice -vote
Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
Objective: Discussion of partnership with the University of Iowa's Iowa Initiative for Sustainable
Communities.
Wendy Bowman, Communications Director, provided a brief overview of the proposed
partnership then introduced Travis Krause, Director, University of Iowa Initiative for Sustainable
Communities. Travis thanked the council for their time and gave a presentation of the program in
detail.
Objective: Discussion of the FYE2021 budget.
Michelle Weidner, Chief Financial Officer, reviewed the changes made by council at the last
meeting. These changes include the removal of hiring delays, removal of reduction in bonus pay
for the Fire department and adding $250,000 to ambulance revenue.
With no further business before the Council, it was moved by Feuss seconded by Grieder that the
meeting be adjourned at 4:48 p.m. Voice -vote Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
