AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE
TRAFFIC CODE, BY REPEALING THE HEADING AND SUBSECTION
(a) OF SECTION 352, CITY LOTS A, B, C AND D PARKING,
AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW HEADING AND
SUBSECTION (A) OF SECTION 352; AND BY REPEALING
SECTION 558A, 30 MINUTE PARKING BEHIND CITY HALL, AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 558A, 30 MINUTE
PARKING BEHIND CITY HALL.
BE IT ORDAIvED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
The heading_ and subsection (a) of Section 352 , City Lots A,
B, C and 1) Parking, of the Traffic Code, are hereby
repealed in their entirety; that a new heading and a new
subsection (a) of Section 352, City Parkin¢ Lots, are
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
SEC . 352. CITY PAZKING LOTS .
a. That the City Council is hereby authorized to
establish parking areas known as City Hall Lot adjacent to
City Hall and City hall Annex Lot adjacent to City Hall
Annex.
Section .558A, 30 Hinute Parking Behind City hall, of the
Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that new
Section 558A, 30 Minute Parking Behind City Hall, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
SEC. 558A. 30 .MINUTE PARKING BEHIND CITY HALL.
All parking adjacent to City Hall Lot located along
the alley extending from East Sixth Street to East Fifth
Street and lying between Franklin Street and Mulberry
Street shall be limited to 30 minute parking from 8 : 00 A.M.
to 6 : 00 P.M. except Saturday and Sunday. Spaces marked
"reserved" are not included in this restriction.
PASSED A17D ADOPTED by the City Council this 20th day of
August, 1934, and approved by the Mayor this 22nd day of
August , 1984.
