AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644 KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (46) IDAHO STREET OF SECTION
541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS, AND ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS (46) IDAHO STREET, (46a) IDAHO
STREET, AND (46b) IDAHO STREET TO SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (46) IDAHO
STREET OF SECTION 543, THRU STREETS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF
NEW SUBSECTION (46) IDAHO STREET TO SECTION 543, THRU STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
Section 1.
That Subsection (46) Idaho Street of Section 541, Increasing Speed
Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of
Waterloo, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that new Subsections
(46) Idaho Street, (46a) Idaho Street, and (46b) Idaho Street are
hereby enacted in lieu thereof to Section 541, Increasing Speed
Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of
Waterloo, as follows: '
(46) Idaho Street - from Dubuque Road to French Street 30 mph
(46a) Idaho Street - from French Street to Independence
Avenue 25 mph
(46b) Idaho Street - from Independence Avenue to Newell
Street 30 mph
Section 2.
That Subsection (46) Idaho Street of Section 543, Thru Streets, of the
Traffic Ordinance of the City of Waterloo, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that new Subsection (46) Idaho Street is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof to Section 543, Thru Streets, of the Traffic Ordinance
of the City of Waterloo, as follows:
(46) Idaho Street East Donald Street to Dubuque Road except a four-
way stop at Newell Street, a two-way stop at
Independence Avenue, and a three-way stop at
Monroe Street 00
