RESOLUTION NO. 2020-252
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO B & B LAWN CARE, INC.
OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,150, AND
APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BOND AND CERTIFICATE
OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2020
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND LIFT STATIONS
MOWING CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$31,150, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the 2020 Waste Water Treatment
Plant and Lift Stations Mowing Contract, and
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc., submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2020-251, after public hearing on April 13, 2020, in conjunction the 2020 Waste
Water Treatment Plant & Lift Stations Mowing Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of B & B Lawn Care, Inc., in the amount of $31,150, in conjunction
with the 2020 Waste Water Treatment Plant and Lift Stations Mowing Contract, is hereby
awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by B & B Lawn
Care, Inc., in conjunction with the 2020 Waste Water Treatment Plant and Lift Stations
Mowing Contract, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2020-251, after public hearing on April 13, 2020 on published notice
required by law, are hereby accepted and approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of April 2020.
