RESOLUTION NO. 2020-195
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR WORK PERFORMED
BY PRICE ELECTRIC OF ROBINS, IOWA, AND RELEASE OF
RETAINAGE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ADAPTIVE
TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND FIBER OPTIC COMMUNICATIONS
PROJECT, SAN MARNAN DRIVE, US 218, W. 5TH STREET,
AND KIMBALL AVENUE, DOT GRANT PROJECT NUMBER
STP-A-8155(743)-86-07, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Price Electric of Robins, Iowa, performed work in conjunction with the
Adaptive Traffic Signals and Fiber Optic Communications project, San Mannan Drive, US 218,
W. 5th Street, and Kimball Avenue, DOT Grant Project Number STP-A-8155(74386-07, and
WHEREAS, Price Electric has completed the aforementioned project in accordance with
the project plans and specifications, at a total cost of$630,145.01 and retainage in the amount of
$18,904.35.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work for work performed by Price Electric, at a total cost of $630,145.01 and release of
retainage in the amount of $18,904.35, in conjunction with the Adaptive Traffic Signals and
Fiber Optic Communications project, San Marrian Drive, US 218, W. 5th Street, and Kimball
Avenue, DOT Grant Project Number STP-A-8155(743)-86-07, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23`d day of March 2020.
