RESOLUTION NO. 2020-197
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR WORK PERFORMED
BY BOOMERANG CORPORATION OF ANAMOSA, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $753,016.25, AND RELEASE OF
RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,650.81, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FLOW EQUALIZATION
FACILITY OVERFLOW CONNECTION TO SATELLITE
WPCF, CONTRACT NO. 880.
WHEREAS, Price Boomerang Corporation of Anamosa, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the Flow Equalization Facility Overflow Connection to Satellite
WPCF, Contract No. 880, and
WHEREAS, Boomerang Corporation has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications, at a total cost of$753,016.25, and release of
retainage in the amount of$37,650.81.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work for work performed by Boomerang Corporation, at a total cost of$753,016.25, and release
of retainage in the amount of $37,650.81, in conjunction with the Flow Equalization Facility
Overflow Connection to Satellite WPCF, Contract No. 880, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of March 2020.
