RESOLUTION NO. 2020-202
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO B & B
LAWN CARE, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR OPTION A
$2,294 PER OCCURRENCE, OPTION B $2,294 PER
OCCURRENCE, OPTION C $91.75 PER MAN HOUR, OPTION
D $91.75 PER ACRE, OPTION E $107.75 PER MAN HOUR,
AND APPROVING THE BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF
INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2020
COMPLAINT MOWING WITH COMPLAINT SNOW
REMOVAL CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B&B Lawn Care, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid as follows:
Option A: $2,294 per occurrence, Option B: $2,294 per occurrence, Option C: $91.75 per man
hour, Option D: $91.75 per acre, Option E: $107.75 per man hour, in conjunction with the 2020
Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal Contract, and
WHEREAS, B&B Lawn Care, Inc., submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2020-201, after public hearing on March 23, 2020, in conjunction with the 2020
Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of B&B Lawn Care, Inc., in the amount of Option A: $2,294 per
occurrence, Option B: $2,294 per occurrence, Option C $91.75 per man hour, Option D $91.75
per acre, Option E $107.75 per man hour, in conjunction with the 2020 Complaint Mowing with
Complaint Snow Removal Contract, is hereby accepted.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by B&B Lawn Care,
Inc., in conjunction with the 2020 Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal Contract,
are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23`d day of March 2020.
