AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE, OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS
(30) , (112) AND (185) OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL
TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW
SUBSECTIONS (30) , (112) AND (185) TO SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND BY ADDING NEW SUBSECTIONS (24a) ,
(68a) , (145a) , (157a) , (210b) , (238a) , AND (247a) TO SECTION 551,
PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND ALSO BY
ADDING NEW SUBSECTION (5a) TO SECTION 567, NO PARKING ANY TIME
EXCEPT SUNDAY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that:
Section 1.
'That Subsections (30) , (112) and (185) of Section 551, Parking Prohibited
At All Times on Certain Streets, of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby repealed in their entirety; that new Subsections
(30) , (112) and (185) of Section 551, Parking Prohibited At All Times on
Certain Streets, of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
are hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(30) Bourland Street South side from West Ninth Street to Randolph
Street; north side from West Sixth Street to
West Seventh Street; north side from Kimball
Avenue to the easterly end of said street
(112) Grant Avenue North and northeast sides from Linwood Avenue to
West Ninth Street; southwest side from West
Sixth Street to West Fourth Street; northeast
side from West Fourth Street to West Fifth Street;
northeast side from West Sixth Street to West
Ninth Street
(185) Maynard Avenue North side from Ansborough Avenue to Valley
Drive; south side in 900 block; south side from
Beverly Hills Drive to Woodbridge Street
Section 2.
That Subsections (24a) , (68a) , (145a) , (157a) , (210b) , (238a) , and (247a)
are hereby added to Section 551, Parking Prohibited At All Times on Certain
Streets, of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as follows:
(24a) Beverly Hills St. East side from Carriage Hill Drive to Maynard
Avenue
(68a) Duryea Street East side from Westfield Avenue to Falls Avenue
(145a) Kaplan Drive North side from Hammond Avenue to Bethel Street
(157a) Langley Road North side from Hammond Avenue to Bethel Street
(210b) Oleson Road North side from Hammond Avenue to Bethel Street
(238a) Ridgeway Court North side from Kent Circle to West Fourth Street
(247a) San Souci Drive Both sides from the southerly side of 100 San Souci
Drive to Conger Street
Section 3.
That Subsection (5a) be added to Section 567, No Parking Any Time Except Sunday,
of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby added as
follows:
(5a) Downing Avenue South side from Wren Road to Doreen Avenue
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City C uncil this day of May, 1978, and
approved by the Mayor this day of May, 1978. /
