ORDINANCE NO. 2 9 6 5
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ELVON STREET IN SECTION
4-88-13W IN PRAIRIE MEADOW WEST ADDITION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS
FOLLOWS :
That part of Elvon Street as platted in Prairie Meadow
West and described as follows :
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest '
Southwest 4 of Section 4-88-13; thence South along the
West line of said Section 4 a distance of 540.00 feet;
thence North 900 East a distance of 549. 26 feet to the
point of beginning; said point being the most Westerly
point on the North line of Elvon Street as platted in
Prairie Meadow West, in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa ; thence South Along the West line of
said Prairie Meadow West Addition a distance of 57 . 29
feet; thence N. 390 30' 50" E. a distance of 74.26 feet;
thence North 900 West a distance of 47 .25 feet to the
point of beginning, with the retention of a utility
easement over and above the North eight (8) feet of the
above described property.
The West line of the Southwest 4 of Section 4-88-13 is
assumed to bear due North.
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 22nd day of May, 1978,
approved by the Mayor on the 22nd day of May, 1978.
