ORDINANCE VACATING Wk OF ALLEY LYING ADJACENT TO LOTS 8, 9 AND
10 AND Ek OF ALLEY LYING ADJACENT TO LOTS 131 14 AND 15 , BLOCK
24, HAGERMAN PLACE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
That,
The West One-Half (k) of the alley lying adjacent to Lots 8,
9 and 10 and the East One-Half Q) of the alley lying adjacent
to Lots 13, 14 and 15, Block 24, Hagerman Place, City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, with City of Waterloo,
Iowa, retention of a utility easement subject to the following
stipulations :
1) That the alley be closed at both ends of the property owned
by the JU-LI Corporation and no access be allowed onto U.S .
Highway 218 from the alley;
2) that JU-LI Corporation be responsible for the placement of
sod and curbing to the specifications of the City and Iowa
Department of Transportation which are associated with the
closing of the alley;
3) that the two (2) handicapped parking spaces be eliminated
as shown on the site plan to alleviate any problems with
traffic flow from Ansborough Avenue into the parking area; and
4) that the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance be met in
regard to parking lots located in "R" Districts,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 27th day of March, 1978,
approved by the Mayor on the 27th day of March, 1978.
