AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE
TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (18) , (20)
AND (21) , OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN
CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS
(18) , (20) AND (21) , OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS
IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND ADDING SUBSECTIONS (18a) AND (21a)
TO SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsections (18) , (20) and (21) of Section 541, Increasing Speed
Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance, are hereby repealed
in their entirety.
That new Subsections (18) , (20) and (21) of Section 541, Increasing
Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance, are hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(18) Conger Street (East) - from Logan Avenue
to Burton Avenue 30 mph
(20) Donald Street (East) - from Sage Road
to North Elk Run Road 55 mph
(21) Donald Street (East) - from Moline Road
to Sage Road 45 mph
That new Subsections (18a) and (21a) are hereby added to Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance,
as follows:
(18a) Conger Street (East and West) - from
Burton Avenue to Rainbow Drive 35 mph
(21a) Donald Street (West) - from Longfellow
Avenue to Moline Road 30 mph
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this day of
1978, and approved by the Mayor this day of �Y! 1978.
