Members absent: Courbat, White. Also present: Suzy Schares. Moved by Dennis, seconded by Ticnor that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Eleven. Moved by Dennis, seconded by Ticnor that the Minutes of August 22, 2012, be approved. Ayes: Eleven. Citizens Oral Comments None Treasurer's Report Marcia Courbat was absent. The City shows a balance of $10,371. Chairperson's Report None Committee Reports Building, Grounds & Operations —Mr. Hastings reported that the Waterloo Public Library request to borrow items for one month for a display case. It would be locked. Moved by Hockey, seconded by Ticnor to approve the request by the Library. Ayes: Eleven. Mr. Hastings will take pictures of the items before they are loaned out. He is working on getting a fire alarm system. The new down spouts are installed. He is still waiting to the trim washed and painted. Fiber is being run to the building and he has requested to have wireless Internet. If the State request to store Civil War items the cabinets need to be re -keyed. There are four or five cabinets available. He is checking to see if the windows are painted shut. They may need new weights and ropes. A television projector would be nice to have with a screen for the facility. He requested to redesign the chair rack so it can be moved in and out of the building. Mr. Hurtado reported that the sidewalk near the Statute of Liberty would be done in six weeks. The two pianos will be removed. He requested to add landscaping around the trees. The sign for the brick directory has been installed. Education/Historical — Mr. Miller reported that the Honor Guard did not show up for the reunion. He noted there needs to be a planning meeting for the Veteran's Day celebration. Mr. Hastings is going to create an archive of the Reunions held at the hall. Finance/Fundraising — Mr. Miller will write a letter to the editor noting that Memorial Hall is requesting donations and bequeaths/memorials. New Business Moved by McMahon, seconded by Hastings to can cancel the monthly meeting if the schools are cancelled due to weather. Ayes: Eleven. Moved by McMahon, seconded by Hockey to cancel the December 2012 meeting. Ayes: Eleven.
