Members absent: White, Thomas, Ticknor, Robinson, Mrzlak. Also present: Suzy Schares. Moved by Dennis, seconded by Hastings that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Eight. Moved by Hockey, seconded by Courbat that the Minutes of February 22, 2012, be approved. Ayes: Eight. Citizens Oral Comments Jim Lenford thanked the Commission for letting him sit in on the meeting and announced the USS Juneau Reunion will be June 14-17, 2012. Treasurer's Report Marcia Courbat gave the May 23, 2012 Treasurer's Report. Ms. Courbat reported that the commission has sold 2,789 bricks at $50.00 each and 4 bricks at $250.00 each for a total of $140,450.00. There is a balance of $4,874.40 in the General Fund and $1,172.00 in the Special fund. Moved by Dennis, seconded by Hockey that the treasurers report, be approved. Ayes: Eight. Moved by Courbat, seconded by Mrzlak to purchase plants/flowers for the planters for an amount not to exceed $50.00. Ayes: Eight. Moved by Hurtado, seconded by McMahon to purchase two additional cranks for the flag poles. Ayes: Eight. Chairperson's Report None Committee Reports Building, Grounds and made a mess building the front circulating pump. with the building podium to identify & Operations —Richard Hastings reported that someone started the fountains by turning on the water. He noted that if more than one person is in the doors need to be unlocked. He suggested switching the fountain to a re - Mr. Hurtado added that he painted the steps to the building and he is working official to get the gutters replaced. He suggested putting a sign up on the the brick catalog. The sidewalk near the Statue of Liberty needs replaced.
