ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
SUB-SECTION NO. 137 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
be further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 136 of said Section,
the following Sub-Section No. One hundred thirty-seven (137) :
"137
Part of the North One-half (Nf) of the Southwest Quarter
(SW-14-) of Section No. Five (5) , Township Eighty-eight North
(T88N) , Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian in Black Hawk County, Waterloo, Iowa, described
as follows: Beginning at a point on the center of West
Fourth Street (formerly Waterloo and Eldora Road) that is
One thousand Seven Hundred Nine and Seven Tenths (1, 709. 7)
feet Northeasterly of the Southwest corner of said N 3� SW 4;
thence S 890 51 ' 30" W One Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-six
and Eighty-eight Hundredths (1, 276.88) feet to the West line
Of said N � SW4; thence S 000 29 ' 30" W Three Hundred Seventy-
five (375) feet along the West line of said N � SW 'k-
thence N 890 51 ' 30" E One Hundred Fifty-five (155) feet;
thence S 300 08 ' 30" E. One Hundred Twenty-three (123) feet;
thence N 890 51 ' 30" E tr, the-, center of said West Fourth
Street; thence Northeasterly to the point of beginning, except
all legal highways,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-l" Agricultural
District be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-4,R-P" Planned Residence
District as above described . "
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 13th day of February,
1978, approved by the Mayor on the 13th day of February, 1978.
