Dear Mr. Smith:
Attached is Change Order No. 2 for the Sanitary Sewer Improvements FY 2015 Phase II CIP Pipe Lining
project. The following is included in this Change Order:
1. Manhole Inspections
2. Reconciliation of the Bid and Change Order No. 2 Quantities
3. Contractor requested time extension to the end of 2015 to complete this additional work
AECOM recommends that the City of Waterloo authorize Change Order No. 2 for the amount of $10,140.35
increasing the total project cost to $1,760,733.60 and grant the time extension to City Contract No. 876.

1. Additional Work— 60 lateral connections. Bid Quantity is an estimate based on aerial photography.
2. Additional Work— 752 Manhole inspections. These are the remaining manholes in Service Area No. 15 and No. 16 to be inspected.
3. Deduction—Removal of 1,149 -LF of8"CIPP due to existing pipe conditions preventing the work.
4. Deduction— Removal of269-LF of 12" CBPP due to existing pipe conditions preventing the work.
Reason for Change Order: The manhole inspections are necessary to meet deadlines in the Consent Decree,
