TO 4:00 P.M. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa: Section 1. That Subsections (6) Longfellow Avenue and (19) Riverside Drive of Section 542, One-Way Streets and alleys, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, are hereby repealed in their entirety. Section 2. That Subsection (85) Riverside Drive of Section 543, Thru Streets, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 3. That Subsection (92a) Sullivan is hereby added to Section 543, Thru Streets, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, as follows: (92a) Sullivan From the north side of West Third to the south side of West Second Section 4. That Section 547, Stop at Certain Railroad Crossings, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, is hereby repealed in its entirety; and new Section 547, Stop at Certain Railroad Crossings, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows: Sec. 547. STOP AT CERTAIN RAILROAD CROSSINGS. When stop signs are erected at grade crossings of railroads, the driver of any vehicle shall stop in accordance with Section 259 within fifty (50) feet but not less than ten (10) feet from the nearest track of such grade crossing and shall proceed only upon exercising due care. Grade crossings where stops are required are as follows: Linden Avenue and what was formerly known as the C.G.W. Railroad, Tracks Leversee Road and the Illinois Central Railroad Tracks River Road and Illinois Central Gulf Railway Section 5. That Subsections (16) Avon Avenue, (63) Donald Street (West) , and (94) Fletcher Avenue, of Section 551, Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, are hereby repealed in their entirety; and the new Subsections (16) Avon Avenue, (63) Donald Street (West) , and (94) Fletcher Avenue, are hereby added to Section 551, Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, as follows: (16) Avon Avenue East and west sides from East Conger Street to southerly end of Avon Avenue; west side from Conger to Riehl (63) Donald St. (W) North side from Logan Avenue to Heath (94) Fletcher Ave. West side from Campbell Avenue to Sunset Page 2 Section 6. That Subsections (Oa) Acadia Street, (37a) Carter Street, (95a) Fluer Drive, (107a) Glencoe and (131b) Ida Street are hereby added to Section 551, Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, as follows: (Oa) Acadia Street South side from Kimball to Grey (37a) Carter Street West side from Falls Avenue and south one block (95a) Fluer Drive West side from Monterey to Sager (107a) Glencoe South side from Colby to Brockway (131b) Ida Street East side one block from Rainbow Drive Section 7. That subsections (19a) Hillcrest, (21a) Iowa Street, (33a) Prospect Blvd. , and (39a) South Hills are hereby added to Section 553, No Parking Here to Corner, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, as follows: (19a) Hillcrest East and west side 150 feet south of Ridgeway (21a) Iowa Street East side 150 feet south of Pine (33a) Prospect Blvd. East and west side, south from Ridgeway to first driveway on east side (39a) South Hills West side 125 feet south of Ridgeway Section 8. That Section 555, No Parking Here to Alley, of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that new Section 555, No Parking Here to Alley, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows: Sec. 555. NO PARKING HERE TO ALLEY. When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall park any vehicle between alley and a sign designating "No Parking Here to Alley" upon any of the streets or portions thereof as named herein: Mulberry Street Southwest side in the 600 block Parker Street (W) North side in the 400 block Third Street (w) Southeast side in the 900 block Section 9. That Subsection (2a) Hillcrest is hereby added to Section 564, No Parking 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. , of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance, as follows: (2a) Hillcrest Both sides from Ridgeway to Glencoe PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this Ilk day of 1977, and approved by the Mayor this 1 �. day of �.��� ,,, , 1977.
