RESOLUTION NO. 2020-269
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FROM
BLACK HAWK ROAD TO DOWNING AVENUE, IDOT
PROJECT NO. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Public Works Division Manager of said City to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., in conjunction with the Ansborough Avenue Improvements Project from Black
Hawk Road to Downing Avenue, IDOT Project No. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07, and
WHEREAS, said Public Works Division Manager did file said plans, specifications, form
of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Ansborough Avenue Improvements Project from Black
Hawk Road to Downing Avenue, IDOT Project No. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on April 20, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Ansborough Avenue Improvements Project from Black Hawk Road to Downing Avenue, IDOT
Project No. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in
accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April 2020.
