This position writes and records resolutions, writes, records, publishes, and codifies ordinances, assists with executing records requests and creating the weekly council and committee agendas, supervises the Clerk II staff, and serves as acting City Clerk when the City Clerk is absent. What are the likely consequences if the position is not filled? Not filling the position will cause the office to fall behind on writing and processing ordinances and resolutions. Staff will be unsupervised any time the City Clerk is away from the office.
