Full Time Property Safety Inspector position and make an appointment.

Background Information: The Property Safety Inspector will be inspecting the rental properties
every three years instead of five years. With the implementation of the new rental inspection
process, a full-time rental inspector is needed.

SUBJECT: Clerk I

Recommended City Council Action: Requesting authorization to initiate the process to fill an
existing position of Clerk I due to a recent promotion. Upon approval, I also propose to request
approval of appointment directly to Council.

Source of Funds: This position is funded for in our FY15 budget.
