Summary Statement: We currently have three vacancies due to a recent retirements and one termination. We do have a current Civil Service list for Police Officer but that the list will expire on March 16`', 2013. We would request permission to begin this testing process to facilitate the replacements. Expenditure Required: Yes Source of Funds: Funds allocated in the FY 13 budget process Policy Issue: None Alternative: None Background Information: It is imperative that we have a list of replacements to lessen the cost of overtime associated with contractually obligated vacation scheduling for 2013 and to maintain adequate shift staffing levels and maintain the contractual obligation of the federal COPPS grant.
