ORDINANCE NO. 2 8 9 1 �
DRDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
SUB-SECTION NO. 117 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
be further amended by adding After Sub-Section No. 116 of said Section,
the following Sub-Section No. One hundred seventeen (117) :
"117
That part of the SWk of the NEk of Section 36, Township 89 North,
Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Block 8 Rolling Acres Addit-
ion in the City of Waterloo, Iowa; thence North along the East line
of Block 8 a distance of 120. 00 feet to the point of beginning;
thence North along the East line of Block 8 and Block 7 of said
Addition a distance of 335. 10 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot
No. 11 in Rolling Acres First Addition in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa; thence deflect 910 03' Right along the South line of said
Rolling Acres First Addition a distance of 276. 5 feet; thence de-
flect 880 41' Right a distance of 146. 93 feet; thence deflect 910
12 ' Right a distance of 30. 00 feet; thence deflect 910 12 ' Left a
distance of 308.00 feet to a point 30 feet North of the South line
of the NEk of Section 36; thence deflect 910 19 ' Right along a line
parallel with the South line of the NEk of said Section 36 a distance
of 130. 00 feet; thence deflect 880 57' Right a distance of 120. 00
feet; thence deflect 880 57' Left a distance of 118. 57 feet to the
point of beginning,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2"
Commercial District as above described".
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 23rd day of May, 1977,
afiproved by the Mayor on the 23rd day of May, 1977.
