ORDINANCE NO. 2 8 9 0
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
SUB-SECTION NO. 118 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
be further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 117 of said section,
the following Sub-Section No. One hundred eighteen (118) :
"118
That part of the South one-half (Sk) of the Northwest one-quarter
(NW4) of Section Eight (8) , Township Eighty-Eight North (T88N) ,
Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying South of the
follrrwing described line: Beginning at a point on the West line
of said S4NW4 that is Three Hundred Sixty (360) feet South of the
Northwest corner of said S4NW4; thence East Three Hundred Sixty-
five (365) feet; thence South Forty (40) feet; thence East Nine
Hundred Sixty-Five (965) feet along a line parallel to the North
line of said S4NW4; thence Southeasterly to a point in the East
line of said S4NW4 that is Five Hundred Eighty-Seven (587) feet
South of the Northeast corner of said S4NW4.
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1" Agricultural
District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-1" One and Two Family
Residence District as above described".
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 23rd day of May, 1977,
approved by the Mayor on the 23rd day of May, 1977.
