Permission to promote three Lieutenants to fill open positions
Summary Statement: Until these positions are filled we are required to pay out of rank pay to
firefighters on the list to meet contractual obligations.

Hi,
The Human Resources Committee agenda doesn't state how many positions are being filled and doesn't
address whether we're adding an additional lieutenant position. That is the way we typically request to fill
positions. It would be helpful to address those two issues.
