ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 24799 AS AMENDED, BY ADDING SUB-
SECTION NO. 116 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, be
further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 115 of said Section, the
following Sub-Section No. One hundred sixteen (116) :
"116
EXCEPT ANY LEGAL HIGHWAYS,
A part of Lots Nos. Twenty-one (21) and Twenty-two (22) in Auditor
Rainbow's Replat, in the City of Waterloo, in Black Hawk County,
Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the Southwesterly line of said Lot No.
Twenty-one (21) that is Twenty-one and Five Tenths (21. 5) feet
Southeasterly from the Southwesterly corner of said Lot No. Twenty-
one (21) ; running thence Northeasterly along a line drawn at right
angles with the Southwesterly line of said Lot No. Twenty-one (21)
a distance of One Hundred Twenty-four and Five Tenths (124. 5) feet;
thence Southeasterly along a line that is parallel with the North-
easterly line of Franklin Street to the East line of said Lot No.
Twenty-two (22) ; thence South along the East line of said Lot No.
Twenty-two (22) to an angle point in said Lot line that is Thirty-
two and Two Tenths (32. 2) feet Northeasterly from the Northeasterly
line of Franklin Street; thence Southwesterly along the Southeasterly
line of said Lot No. Twenty-two (22) a distance of Thirty-two and
Two Tenths (32. 2) feet to the Northeasterly line of Franklin Street
thence Northwesterly along the Northeasterly line of Franklin Street
to the point of beginning.
Also
That part of Lot No. Twenty-three (23) in Auditor Rainbow's Replat,
Waterloo, Iowa, which lies Northerly of a line extending from the
angle point in the Westerly line of said Lot to a point on the East
line of said Lot which is Seventy-four (74) feet South of the Northeast
Lot corner, said line being an extension of the Westerly line which
extends from the angle point Southerly to Franklin Street.

Lot No. Twenty-three (23) except that part which lies Northerly of a
line extending from the angle point in the Westerly line of said Lot
to a point on the East line of said Lot which is Seventy-four (74)
I-eet South of the Northeast Lot corner, said line being an extension
of the Westerly line which extends from the angle point Southerly to
Franklin Street, in Auditor Rainbow's Replat, Waterloo, Iowa.
And
That part of Lot No. Two (2) in Auditor Rainbow's Replat, Waterloo,
Iowa, lying Northwesterly of a line running Northeasterly from the
point of intersection of the West lot line with the Northeasterly
line of Franklin Street to the Southwest corner of Lot No. Three (3)
inesaid Addition.
Also,
A part of Lots Nos. Two (2) and Three (3) in Auditor Rainbow's Replat,
in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, bounded as follows:
Beginning at the point where the West line of said Lot No. Two (2)
intersects the Northeasterly line of Franklin Street (Primary Road No.
U. S. 20) ; thence North Twenty-two (22) degrees Nineteen and One-half
(19k) minutes East Fifty-four and Eight Tenths (54. 8) feet tothe South-
west corner of Lot No. Three (3); thence North Zero (0) degrees Three
and Ore-half (3k) minutes West abng the Lot line to the Northwest
corner of Lot No. Three (3) ; thence South Eighty-four (84) degrees Four
and One-half (4k) minutes East Ninety-nine and Seven Tenths (99. 7) feet;
thence Southwesterly along a Two Thousand Thirty-five and Seven Tenths
(2,035. 7) foot radius curve concave Southeasterly a distance of One
Hundred Seventy and Six Tenths (170.6) feet to the point of beginning.

now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-3" Multiple Residence
District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2" Commercial District as
above described",
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to file
a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 18th day of April, 1977,
approved by the Mayor on the 18th day of April, 1977.
