AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE TWO UNNECESSARY EASEMENTS4INA P5OXI-
ZN
MATELY 25.585 ACRES OF LAND IN PART OF GOVT.
SECTION 1-88-13W, AS PUBLISHED IN WATERLOO DAILY COURIER ON
3/17/77.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
That two easements in approximately 25.585 acres of land in part
of Govt. Lots #4 and #5 in Section 1-889-13W, legally described as:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section 1, Range 88 North,, Township 13
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, East a distance of One Thousand Twenty-eight and Seventeen Hundredths
(1,028.17) feet to the West line of Waterloo Water Power Company Mill Race,
thence Southeasterly along the West line of Mill Race Two Thousand Sixty-
three and Thirty-nine Hundredths (2,063.39) feet; thence South on a line
parallel to the West line of said section a distance of Six Hundred Six and
Twenty-three Hundredths (606.23) feet; thence West on a line parallel to the
North line of said section a distance of Twenty (20) feet; thence on a North-
westerly line to a point on the North line of said section which is Six Hundred
Seventy'-three and Nineteen Hundredths (673.19) feet West of the point of begin-
ning a distance of Two Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-three and Six Tenths
(2,823.6) feet; thence East Six Hundred Seventy-three and Nineteen Hundredths
(673.19) feet to the point of beginning.
Also, a parcel of real estate located in the above described property which is
described as being Sixty (60) feet in even width which is bordered by the
extensions of the right-of-way lines of Bopp Street.
shall be, and the same are hereby vacated.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 28th day of March, 1977,
approved by the Mayor on the 28th day of March, 1977.
