`1 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY �J
ADDING SUB-SECTION NO. 104 TO SECTION 2A-5, RE-
ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479 , as amended ,
he further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 103 of said
Section , the following Sub-Section No. One hundred fourZ LQ ) -
104 A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section No.
Twenty (20), Township No. Eighty-nine (89) North, Range No. Twelve
(12) West of the Fifth (5th) Principal Meridian in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
TO BE REZONED FROM ITS PRESENT "R-3 " MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DIS-
TRICT TO "C-2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ALL THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at a point on the South line of said Section 20
which is 836 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Sec-
tion 20; thence North along a line parallel with the West
line of said Section 20 a distance of 990 feet; thence East
along a line parallel with the South line of said Section 20
a distance of 144 feet; thence South along a line parallel
with the West line of said Section 20 a distance of 990
feet to the South line of said Section 20; thence West
along the South line of said Section 20 to the place of begin-
ning except all legal streets or highways.
TO BE REZONED FROM ITS PRESENT "C-1 " COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO
N. "C-2 " COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ALL THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS FOL-

That South 330 feet of a parcel that is described as Commen-
cing at a point on the South line of said Section 20 which is
1235 .5 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Section 20;
thence Noi-th a distance of 990 feet to a point which is 748
feet West of the East line of the West 120 acres of the South-
west Quarter of said Section 20; thence West parallel with
the South line of said Section 20 a distance of 255 .9 feet;
thence South along a line parallel with the West line of said
Section 20 a distance of 990 feet to the South line of said
Section 20; thence East along the South line of said Section
20 to the place of beginning except all legal streets and high-
ways.
