Please accept this letter as my request to appoint Bob Justis to the Airport Board effective
August 2011 to fulfill the unexpired term of Tom Schellhardt.
Tom Schellhardt is retiring from University of Northern Iowa in August 2011 as has
submitted his letter of resignation.
Bob Justis will offer a unique perspective, as he is the President of the Chamber of
Commerce. As the primary contact with the business community, Bob is an ideal
candidate to communicate the business community's perspective on air service and
general development of the airport. We are currently going through an airport master
plan as well as continuing efforts to retain and improve air service and the business
community is critical in those efforts.
