ORDINANCE NO. 2 z
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-14, PLAN AND PROGRAM COMMISSION
RULES GENERALLY, OF CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (a) , COMPOSITION, AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION (a) , COMPOSITION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Section 29-14, Plan and Program Commission rules generally, be
amended by repealing Subsection (a) , Composition, in its entirety, and
enacting in lieu thereof new Subsection (a) , Composition, as follows:
(a) Composition. The city plan and program commission shall consist of
one member each of the following boards and commissions of the City of
Waterloo: Community development board, park commission, housing and
rehabilitation advisory board, human rights commission, school board; and
two (2) members each of the zoning commission and the city council; and
six (6) members from the city at large. The board, commission and council
representatives shall be selected by their respective board, commission or
council as a whole. The six (6) commissioners from the city at large
shall be appointed by the mayor subject to the approval of the council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this "k day of 90= ,
