ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATE PLUMBING CODE WHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 2646 BY REPEALING
SECTION 61 TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS, OF ARTICLE XVII, BOARD OF
PLUMBER EXAMINERS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 6,
TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS, OF ARTICLE XVII, BOARD OF PLUMBER
EXAMINERS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Section 6, Time and Place of Meetings, of Article XVII, Board of
Plumber Examiners, of the Plumbing Code is hereby repealed; and that new
Section 6, Time and Place of Meetings, of Article XVII, Board of Plumber
Examiners, of the Plumbing Code is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows:
Sec. 6. - Time and Place of Meetings - Examination of applicants for
plumber's licenses and certificates of competency shall be held during the
first three (3) months of each year. The City Council shall provide a suitable
room in which the board may hold its meetings and shall furnish such equipment,
supplies and incidentals as are necessary for the conduct of its business.
The secretary of the board shall notify all members of the board of
applications filed and of the exact time and place of all examinations to be
held.
