AN ORDINANCE RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS AND NAMING CERTAIN UNNAMED STREETS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa: Sec. 1. That the name of the public street commonly now known as Lansing Road is hereby repealed and the said street located in Section 28, Township 89, Range 13, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, , ..: legally described as the East 80 feet in even width of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter except the North 33 feet and except the South 60 feet, is, by these presents, changed and renamed to the name of Scott Avenue, and said public street shall hereafter be known as Scott Avenue. Sec. 2. That the name of the public street located in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, commonly called River Road and incorporating a portion of Commercial Street, is, by these presents, changed to the name of River Road from the intersection of Commercial Street and Mullan Avenue along the said River Road to Rainbow Drive and Conger Street intersection, and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of River Road. Sec. 3. That the name of the public street located in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which was formerly a part of old Highway 20, which is presently known as Broadway, is, by these presents, changed to the name of Diagonal Street from West Airline Highway to Wagner Road, and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of Diagonal Street. Sec. 4. That the name of the public street located in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which is presently known as Commercial Street from the intersection of Westfield Avenue to River Road is hereby renamed Westfield Avenue, and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of Westfield Avenue.
