ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479 , AS AMENDED, BY
ADDI14G SUB-SECTION NO. 88 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance Ho. 2479 , as amended, be further
amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 87 of said Section, the following
Sub-Section No. eighty-eizht (88) :
"88 From "A-1" Agricultural District to "R-2" One and Two Residence District
A parcel of land located in the SEk of Section 3-88-13 , Waterloo , Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Tract B , Hammond Hills Second Addi-
tion; thence N. 890 32 ' E. a distance of 722 feet to the Westerly R-O-W
line of Hammond Avenue; thence S. 00 09 ' 15" W. along said R-O-W line a
distance of 371. 50 feet; thence S. 89039 ' W. a distance of 1909 .20 feet;
thence 14 00 05' 30" E. a distance of 367 . 10 feet to the Southwest corner
of Tract A, Hammond Hills ; thence Easterly along; the Southerly line of
Hammond Hills and Hammond Hills Second Addition to the point of beginning.
Except the West 200 . 00 feet of the South 154. 10 feet thereof and also ex-
cepting the West 147 . 63 feet of the North 213. 00 feet thereof and also ex-
cepting the South 156. 58 feet of the East 210. 00 feet.

The South 158. 58 feet of the East 210. 00 feet of the following described
parcel.
A parcel of land located in the SE4 of Section 3-6 -13 , Waterloo , Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Tract B, I:ammond Hills Second Addi-
tion; thence N. 890 32 ' E. a distance of 722 feet to the Westerly R-O-W
line of Hammond Avenue; thence S. 00 09 ' 15" W. along said R-O-W line a
distance of 371. 58 feet; thence S. 890 39 ' W. a distance of 1909 . 20 feet;
thence N. 00 05' 30" E. a distance of 367. 10 feet to the Southwest corner
of Tract A, Hammond Aills ; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of
Hammond Hills and Hammond Hills Second Addition to the point of beginning,
now zoned on the 'Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1" Agricultural District,
be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District,
"R-4" Multiple Residence District and "C-1" Commercial District as above
described".
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to file a certi-
fied copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on day day ofL: -7 1976 ,
approved by the Mayor on the _ day of _ ` 976.
