ORDINANCE NO. 2 7 8 3 ✓
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2479 AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUB-SECTION NO. 83 TO SECTION �A-5 OF SAID
ORDINANCE, RE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1, That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
be further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 82 of said Section,
the following Sub-Section Eighty-three(83) :
"83 All of Section No. Sixteen (16) in Township No. Eighty-nine
(89) North, Range No. Twelve (12) , West of the Fifth Prin-
cipal Meridian Black Hawk County, Iowa and The North One-
half (N 1/2) of Section No. Seventeen (17) , and the East
One-half (E 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter of Section No.
Seventeen (17) Township No. Eighty-nine (89) North, Range
No. Twelve (123 , West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Black Hawk County Iowa, and That part of the East One-
half (E 1/2) of tie Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section
No. Twenty-one (21) Township No. Eighty-nine (89) North,
Range No. Twelve (1L) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, lying North of and adjacent to
the right-of-way of the Chicago, Great Western Railroad,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa as "A-1" Agricultural
District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "M-2" Planned Industrial
District as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on this 26th day of December,
1975, approved by the Mayor on the 26th day of December, 1975.
