ORDINANCE NO. 2 7 8 1
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644 KNOWN AS THE
TRAFFIC ORDINANCE By REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (3) AND (85)
OF SECTION 541 ENTITLED "IIXRFASING SPEED LIlKITS IN CER-
TAIN AREAS" AND By ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSEC-
TIONS (3) , (3a) , (3b), (85) , AND (85a) TO SECTION 541
ENTITLED "INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS".
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsections (3) and (85) of Section 541, entitled, "Increasing
Speed Limits in Certain Areas" of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the
"Traffic Ordinance", are hereby repealed, that new Subsections (3) ,
(3a) , (3b), (85) , and (85a) of Section 541, entitled "Increasing
Speed Limits in Certain Areas", are hereby enacted as follows:
Section 541
(3) Ansborough Avenue - from Iowa Highway 412 to Olympic Drive 35 mph
(3a) Ansborough Avenue - from Olympic Drive to Meadow Lane 25 mph
(3b) Ansborough Avenue - from Meadow Lane to West Ridgeway 35 mph
Avenue
(85) Ridgeway Avenue - from West Fourth Street to 1/4 mile 45 mph
east of Deere Road
(85a) Ridgeway Avenue - from 1/4 mile east of Deere Road to 35 mph
westerly corporate limits
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council on this 8th day of December,
1975, approved by the Mayor on the 8th day of December, 1975.
