RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN TAYLOR VENTURES, LLC AND THE CITY OF
WATERLOO FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 7, 600
SQUARE FOOT MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING IN THE
SAN MARNAN TIF DISTRICT, ADDING $1, 335, 000 OF
TAXABLE VALUE TO SITE, AND OFFERING
FOUR YEARS AT 95% TAX REBATES AND THREE YEARS
AT 940, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Development Agreement dated February 15, 2016,
between Taylor Ventures, LLC and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for
the construction of a 7, 600 square foot medical office building
in the San Marnan TIF District, adding $1, 335, 000 of taxable
value to site, and offering tax rebates for four years at 95
percent and three years at 94 percent, is hereby approved and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of February 2016.
