RESOLUTION NO. 2016-127
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON THE REQUEST OF EDWARD SHAW TO
PURCHASE CITY OWNED PROPERTY ACQUIRED THROUGH
IOWA CODE 657A AND LOCATED AT 927 MULLAN
AVENUE FOR THE MINIMUM BID OF $3, 000, AS
MARCH 7, 2016, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN HAROLD E.
GETTY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL,
WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. That" "the Council --of the- City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet in Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa at 5 : 30 p.m'. on the 7th day of March, 2016, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon the request of Edward
Shaw to purchase city owned property located at 927 Mullan
Avenue for the minimum bid of $3, 000, that was obtained through
Section 657A of the Iowa Code, and legally described as follows :
Whitney' s Subdivision, the Northeast 13 feet of Lot 8, Block
14, and the Southwest 26 feet of Lot 9, Block 14, City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 2016 .
