AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (93)
OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS, AND BY
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION (93) OF SECTION 541,
INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (93) of Section 541, entitled "Increasing Speed Limits in
Certain Areas", of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Ordinance is hereby
repealed; that new Subsection (93) of Section 541, entitled "Increasing Speed
Limits in Certain Areas", is hereby enacted as follows:
(93) Third Street (West) - from Washington Street to Vermont Street 30 mph
Third Street (West) - from Vermont Street to Marsh Street 20 mph
Third Street (West) - from Marsh Street to Highway 63 or Sergeant
Road i 30 mph
