ORDINANCE NO. 2 7 3 2
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 2479 , AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
SUB-SECTION NO. 68 TO SECTION 2A-5 OF SAID ORDINANCE, RE-ZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, be
further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 67 of said section, the
following Sub-Section Sixty-eight (68) :
"68 Rezone from A-1 Agricultural District to R-3 R-P Planned Residence
District
That part of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section Seven (7) ,
Township Eighty-eight North (T88N) , Range Thirteen West (R13W)
of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa, des-
cribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the centerline of
West Fourth Street which is Six Hundred Seventy (670) feet South
of the centerline of Iowa State Highway No, 412; thence North-
westerly to a point which is Ninety (90) feet South of the South
right-of-way line of Iowa State Highway No. 412 and One Thousand
Two Hundred (1200) feet normally distant from and Easterly of the
Easterly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 63 ; thence South-
westerly parallel with said Easterly right-of-way line of U. S.
Highway No. 63 to a point on a line which passes through the in-
tersection point of U. S. Highway No. 63 and Ranchero Road and
through the intersection point of Winghaven Drive and West Fourth
Street (said line shall be referred to in this description as the
"Ranchero Road Extension") ; thence Southeasterly along said
"Ranchero Road Extension" to the centerline of West Fourth Street;
thence Northerly along the centerline of said West Fourth Street
to the point of beginning; except that part of the above described
parcel lying Northwesterly of a line described as being Six Hundred
Sixty (660) feet normally distant from, Northwesterly of, and par-
allel with the centerline and tangent extended to the Northeast of
that part of the West Fourth Street lying between Winghaven Drive
and Hoff Road, containing 30.5 acres more or less ,
and
Rezone from A-1 Agricultural District to C-2 Commercial District
