RESOLUTION NO. 2020-305
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN IOWA CONTAMINATED
SITE ENVIRONMENTAL COVENANT WITH
CHAMBERLAIN MANUFACTURING CORPORATION AND
THE- UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
AGENCY, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 550 ESTHER
STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Iowa Contaminated Site Environmental Covenant, dated May 4, 2020, between the
United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7, Chamberlain Manufacturing
Corporation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the purpose of subjecting the affected property to
certain activity and use limitations, in accordance with the terms and conditions as specified in
and the authorities granted by IC Chapter 455I, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized
and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May 2020.
