RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY/STATE
FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION FOR RISE FUNDING, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3,196,984, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
2021 LAPORTE ROAD/HESS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS -
PHASE I, CONTRACT NO. 1016, WITH CITY MATCHING
FUNDS OF $3,196,984, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the City/State Funding Agreement dated May 4, 2020, between the Iowa Department of
Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $3,196,984, for Federal -Aid
Swap Funding, in conjunction with the FY 2021 LaPorte Road/Hess Road Improvements - Phase
I, Contract No. 1016, with City matching funds of $3,196,984, is hereby approved and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May 2020.
