RESOLUTION NO. 2014-754A
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF RENADA BATES
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Renada Bates is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 29, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a Bates Family Reunion event to be held at 906
Fairview Avenue, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Renada Bates has made formal application for a
variance effective August 29, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,
together with recommendation and approval of the Director of
Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Renada Bates for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 29, 2014 from
4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with a Bates Family
Reunion event to be held at 906 Fairview Avenue, including a DJ
and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of August, 2014.
