AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY REPEALING SECTION
568, SCHOOL STOP SIGNS, AND BY ENACTING NEW SECTION 568, SCHOOL
STOP SIGNS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Section 568, entitled "School Stop Signs", of Ordinance No. 2644, known as the
Traffic Ordinance is hereby repealed; that new Section 568, entitled "School Stop
Signs" is hereby enacted as follows:
SEC. 568 SCHOOL STOP SIGNS
The following locations are designated as school crossings and every driver or
a vehicle shall stop in accordance with the provisions of Section 262 of this Ordinance:
(1) 2100 block of Burton Avenue Mid-block
(2) 200 block of Prospect Blvd. Mid-block
(3) 200 block of East Mitchell Avenue Mid-block
(4) Mitchell Avenue (East) Intersection
(5) Sixth Street and Byron Avenue Intersection
(6) Sixth Street and Hawthorne Avenue Intersection
(7) Newell Street and Springview Street Intersection
(8) Greenbrier and Oakwood Drive Intersection
(9) Maynard Avenue and Beverly Hills Intersection
(10) Maynard Avenue and Ardmore Street Intersection
(11) Rainbow Drive and DeSoto Avenue Intersection
(12) Easton and Oregon Intersection
(13) Bismarck and Magnolia Intersection
